Sailing & Biking Experience

Duration: 6 hours

If you are a group of people or families searching for fun and new challenges, we suggest our combined tour.

You can enjoy sailing in the Navarino Bay, swim and snorkelling in the crystal clear waters, and also biking near the lagoon of Gialova.

There,next to Golden Beach-Divari, you can find easy trails and beautiful landscapes.

Sailing and biking are great ways to learn about nature while still getting your heart rate up.

No experience is needed, only good spirits.

Half Day / Navarino Bay

Duration: 10:00 a.m.- 14:00 p.m. 4 hours

This half day cruise is a guided tour, into the bay of Pylos. The bay was the scene of a decisive battle in 1827 that consolidated the independence of Greece. There you can see the monuments of the Navarino battleship and also enjoy swimming and snorkelling in the calm clean waters.

The landlocked bay protected by the Sfaktiria Island is the best area for beginners sailors and families.

One Day Cruise / Sapienza

Duration: 10:00 a.m.– 18:00 p.m. 8 hours

Exploring the beautiful waters and landscapes of Messinia in one day,

Sapienza Island combined with Island Marianni is a very popular cruise.This route starts from Pylos and we go sailing until the unique island of Sapienza, part of the island complex named Messinian Oinousses , opposite Methoni, where rare flora and fauna meet. Swimming in the magnificent waters of Kavos Kokkina beach and then we visit the beautiful Island Mariani which is nearby.Return to Pylos in the afternoon.

One Day Cruise / Proti Voidokoilia

Duration: 10:00 a.m.– 18:00 p.m. 8 hours

Another popular suggestion is visiting Proti Island combined with Voidokoilia Beach.This route starts from Pylos and we go sailing until Proti Island, opposite Marathopolis, which offers a covered beach for swimming, snorkelling and a monastery.

In this cruise, we have the opportunity to stop in the famous beach of Voidokoilia. The beach has the shape of the Greek letter omega (Ω),located next to Gialova lagoon, an important bird habitat, that’s been named “A Place of Particular Natural Beauty”! Return to Pylos in the afternoon.

TWO DAYS CRUISE / MESSINIAN OINOUSES

Duration: 10:00 a.m. departure day– 18:00 p.m. arrival day

In this unique two days cruise to the Messinian Oinousses and nearby coasts, you can have the opportunity to discover places and beaches that you can not go by car and also enjoy sailing.

We start from Pylos and go sailing until Sapienza, one of the island of Messinian Oinousses complex, opposite Methoni, and also visit the Island Marianni. We drop our anchor in Foinikounta for the night, where you can have dinner and enjoy the night life. Next day we visit nearby Marathi beach, a unique beach for swimming and then set course for Methoni, for lunch. Methoni has a historical castle,beautiful beach and nice stores. Return to Pylos in the afternoon.

For families or group of active people we propose extra activities upon request in the area, such as biking and water sports. Alternatively you can relax at a Reflexology – Aromatotherapy treatment.

Weekly Adventure / Ionian Islands

Duration: 1 week /6 nights

From the marina of Pylos, we set course for the third largest island of the Ionian called Zakynthos, on the west coast of the Peloponnese.

Sailing around the island you will find many beaches for swimming including the world famous “Navagio”. Zakynthos is a very popular touristic destination with lots of opportunities for nature lovers.

Between Pylos and Zakynthos we will visit the Islands of Strofadia, a unique complex with natural monuments.In this trip we have a lot of opportunity meeting the longselted Careta Careta!

Weekly Adventure / Kythira

Duration: 1 week /6 nights

Kythira island is lying opposite the south-eastern tip of the Peloponnese and has small sandy beaches and natural settings.It is the perfect place for relaxing holidays, with traditional villages without any noise.

On our way to Kythira Island we will have the opportunity to meet the Messinian Mani.Rocks, crystal clear waters and stone houses is the characteristic scenery in Mani which attacks visitors from all parts of the world.

Sit comfortable on the deck and leave everything on us. You do not have anything to worry about. Just cherish the sea and the sun!

ROMANTIC SUNSET

Duration: 18:00 p.m.- 20:00 p.m. 2 hours

Spend your pleasant vacation time with your loved ones, on a sailing cruise to the Navarino Bay. You can watch the magnificent Messinian sunset relaxing, just a few minutes far from the port of Pylos. Leave everything behind and enjoy the sea breeze with a glass of wine on the deck. TRANSPORTATION

We could arrange your transportation from the airport or your hotel to the marina of Pylos by taxi or we can assist you in booking hired cars.

On – Site Details

Upon your arrival at your booking boat a member of our crew will help you complete your official documents which we will need to be authorized at the port police.

Orientation & Route Assistance

If you pick the bareboat option we will offer you suggestions on places to visit and routes to take. We will also discuss the weather conditions and advise you about the harbors, lively and quiet, of the area.

Last Minute Supplies

On your way from the port you can call us to arrange anything that you might want for your trip.

Boat Check In

We run through your boat in detail and ensure you understand how the systems and the equipment work. We use a comprehensive checklist to ensure that nothing is missing.

On Thursday 04 November 2021, for the second time in three years, we spent the full day on Nikos' sailboat. Splendid weather allowed us to sail. We were even able, under the supervision of the skipper, to take the helm. Here is the best way to discover the bay of Navarino, the islands nearby. Nikos threw the ink in a small sheltered lagoon, for lunch, followed by swimming. Unforgettable day in the company of Nikos and his (his) sailor.

I have used North Sail Yachting on two different visits to Pylos, and they are so wonderful and accommodating! Please do not hesitate to book them on your next visit. We took a group of women out for a sunset cruise and had an amazing time sailing around the bay. For out second outing a few years later, we went out into the sea and cruised up the coast, past castles, ruins and to the most BEAUTIFUL round beach! Captain Nik is very knowledgeable, and easily adjusted our cruise course to take advantage of calmer waters and still get us an amazing sunset view (see picture). Marianna was very helpful in coordinating our outings plus pointed us in the right direction to find the food and wine we wanted to purchase, to bring aboard and enjoy on our sail. The boat is very clean and has a stocked galley to serve the food and drinks we brought, and the crew was so kind and spoke enough English that we could all communicate. I can't wait to go back and cruise the beautiful blue Greek sea again! Thanks Nik and Marianna!
